Trump sacks the entire National Science Team
Has dystopia been trumped by science fiction nightmare? Religious fundamentalism wins yet another round as Trump fires the independent board overseeing the National Science Foundation (created 1950 to further scientific research), continuing the attack on 400 years of science & fact based Enlightenment values, as I’ve been warning about for years.
All the signs have been there as western civilisation undergoes a paradigm shift in the 21st century courtesy of the elites shoring up their power. America the world hegemon is in decline, both materially and spiritually. Instead of fixing the situation constructively they’re busy levelling down until, presumably, they’re the last man standing in the wreckage. “Look at me, ma. I’m king of the rubble.”
Under USA management, war, pestilence, plague, ignorance, poverty, greed and a host of Horsemen of the Apocalypse you never knew would make a comeback in the most powerful country on the planet are gathering on the White House lawn.
One recent example of abandonment of Enlightenment values was Western media reportage of the Covid pandemic. They ripped up truth and science to prioritise a war against the US target, China, which ended up costing millions of lives. All the evidence piling up around Covid mismanagement, such as abandonment of the Cautionary Principle, reclassifying the SARS-CoV-2 virus from Airborne to Droplets on no scientific basis, and trashing the effective roadmap drawn up by China, indicates where deep state elites are taking us in their new world order.
Still, one thing’s on our side. At least we don’t have to spend an eternity in an underground bunker with this lot of gargoyles, staring Kash Patel in eyes or tripping over little Marco. How soon before they’re all 86ing each other?
America attempts to contain China
In a cascading series of self-made disasters, America has recklessly sought to “contain” China. Launching openly in 2010 with Obama’s Pivot to Asia, Trump has doubled and tripled down with his trade war on China (2018), Hong Kong riots (2019), Covid (2019) and a raft of hostile actions. In this, he has effectively been aided and abetted by the Biden admin in disrupting oil supply to setting up Taiwan as the next Ukraine to failed attempts to hobble China’s semiconductor chip technology to massively funded character assassination.
The current unprovoked and illegal war on Iran by America and Israel obeys no logic except to hold the world to ransom and expand the empire. The Strait of Hormuz was open. Now it’s closed. Who did that? The slow children are now realising China is the ultimate target in their commentaries. Facepalms all round.
China was the newly rich kid wearing a Rolex straying onto mafia turf and about to get rolled, as I’ve long pointed out. But in the new colonialism, we are back to ten “Chinamen” equalling the voice of one white & nothing being true until a white person says it is true, for which “insights” we have to wait years until the penny drops. And we have not had the luxury of time on our side.
The war of civilisations is not between races or cultures but is one of class, manifesting in religious fundamentalism versus Enlightenment science, and has been on for a while.
